Hello, I’m Mia
Project manager. Parent. An expat residing in Seattle, United States.
A few years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn't in the long-range plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The early months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily chores seemed more tangled than they ought to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built EvaronNorexHavor
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation advice or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was an honest, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to close the gap — practical advice grounded in real life in United States.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site IS:
- Hands-on insights gained from living in United States
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever there is a real change
This site ISN'T:
- Not an official tourism authority resource
- Not a sponsored review site
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in United States continues, and the learning journey goes on. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Seattle or anywhere in United States, don't hesitate to reach out.

Mia
